We went to the zoo. Katie tried to talk to the animals and got mad at them when they didn’t say hi back. Otherwise she had the best time ever. I gave Hailey the camera and let her take all the pictures.
A video of Hailey skiing after her first day at snow school.
Hailey has drawn each member of the family. I like mine because I have more hair.
Hailey started her first day of school.
Hailey came home excited and happy. She spent the afternoon telling us about her new friends. She went upstairs to play ‘teacher’ with Katie. We could overhear exactly how Hailey’s day must have been from the role-playing conversations going on upstairs. Hailey had Katie walking around with duck tails (hands behind back) and bubbles (lips closed and checks filled with air). Hailey passed out at 7:30 on the couch and I had to carry her upstairs to bed.
H: They can roar.
H: They can eat you up.
D: Lions are big.
H: But in that picture they’re small.
H: They can eat your whole body.
H: Puma’s too.
H: Why does it say ‘home’?
H: Home Depot, why does it home when it isn’t a home?
