An Exploratory Mission

NASA Mars Certificate

On February 4, 2003 Fetus Jones, who in limited
circles is also known as Bruno Jones, will have a compact disc
bearing his name flown on a mission of the next Mars exploration
rover, thanks to Roscoe.

(Roscoe is the great–grandfather _The misses
has informed me that Roscoe is the great-papa, because he is the papa
and he is great, don’t get on the wrong side of the pregant
misses.–ed_).

Today's Special

A delectable 11 week old 35 mm fetus, fresh on Tuesday presented in a
delicate and nutritious embryonic fluid.

The images from Tuesday’s trip to central Austin are available
now. The healthy little fetus spans an amazing 35 mm, big enough to
give an inch worm fits.

8 Weeks

Embryo Jones is now Fetus Jones.

The first official Ob visit was
today, some of the things that happen to women during there exams
makes me glad to be a man, yes I was there. The entire process led
Cheryl to say the best thing I’ve heard come out of a doctor’s mouth,
‘Women have problems, Dusty’.

We have passed 8 weeks and now little
Embryo Jones is called fetus Jones. Mom calls fetus Jones Dustette
because she is sure it is a girl. Bri’s mom was worried enough after
the exam to get some new photographs for you. At 8 weeks we present
items a through b, enjoy.

Dusty Jones Day

Today is the official celebration day of ‘Dusty Jones Day’. Celebrate
the day responsibly with a cold refreshing bottle of Rolling
Rock(R) and a tasty slice of Tollhouse(TM) Pie. (Special
thanks to Mom, Roxanne, and Brianna for pie (yes three of them)).

I Said Woo Hoo

The door to the garage swings open and in runs Brianna with something
in her hand. I step away from Fredd and walk towards her. Barely able
to speak, she pushes the EPT test to my face. Reference line?
Check. Test line?

A clear pink line, not as dark as the picture on the
box, but there is a line. As Brianna calls everyone she knows to tell
them the news, the line gets darker.

The big clunk you heard? That was
the sound of Brianna falling down the stairs as she ran to share the
news.

Con-cep-tion /kən-'sep-shən/

This is the month I am in charge, we start the scientific way. An
ovulation kit consist of seven tests. It is mostly a hit or miss
process. Once a day, starting at your best guess of ‘the right time’
you start using the test. The test will indicate when the LH hormone
surges. After that you have about 72 hours of honeymoon style fun.
